Education - Adam Knight for Medford City Council

Education

The quality of our schools reflects and shapes the quality of our community. I’m committed, as a parent and as a Medford City Councilor to “Great Schools” that can open a world of opportunity for both our kids and our community. In this past term, we’ve opened a new Media & Technology Center at Medford High School, implemented "Before School" programming to build upon the success of our "After School" program, reintroduced adjustment counselors in public schools, and kept the student/teacher ratio at less than 25 to 1. In my next term I’ll fight to extend Universal Pre-K to a full day, ensure that kids have more time to be active and productive, and work to strengthen our after-school programs.
